(R)evolutionary Ideas

WARNING:  This is quite possibly the MOST controversial topic I have ever written about.  I an not in anyway presenting this as doctrinal.  It is a combination of observations I have made over the years, nothing more, nothing less.

Three important background facts before I get started:

1.  I believe the whole Bible from front to back, verse for verse.   I believe that its coming to existence was divinely directed.  I know that the Bible is 100% uncontradictable truth.

2.  Number 1 has not always been true.  I went to a small southern public school in the country and, though a self proclaimed "Christian," I passionately avoided FCA and their morning flagpole prayers, I fought with an English teacher over a Pagan in our class having to complete her literary lesson over Psalms and Proverbs, and I hated every last hypocrite that walked the halls.  Between the church of Christs and the Baptists, we were all going to hell anyway.

3.  I LOVED controversy.  The whole class groaned as our young science teacher wrinkled her nose and dutifully taught the chapter of evolution.  And while they sniveled and whined, I clung to every word.

Now, the rest of this is neither fact nor even necessarily my opinion, but more or less a compilation of random Bible verses,  potentially faulty scientific "facts" I learned almost 10 years ago, possibly a few assertions that could be (offensively) taken the wrong way, and the formulation of a sloppy hypothesis that is meant to do nothing more than make you think.

--

I see a lot of videos by Christians against evolution and they are almost as bad as the evolutionists against Christianity.  Both sides think the other is stupid and ignorant.  Both sides haughtily talk down to or about the other and neither side accurately presents the side they are attempting to shoot down.  You can't present a rational argument against something you don't know. At least you can't and expect anyone to listen to you.

Statement 1:
The problem with evolution is life cannot come from nonlife.

In the theory of evolution, life evolves from single celled LIVING organisms CONFIRMED to exist on asteroids, meteorites, and other spacial matter.  This same spacial matter is confirmed to contain water...

Genesis 1:20 KJV
[20] And Elohim said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

Statement 2:
The Bible says Yah created man therefore man could not have evolved from apes.

Evolution is simply the gradual development of something, especially from a simple to a more complex form not the less educated more popular belief, "Man came from apes."

Secondly, there is no actual skeletal link connecting man to apes.  There are actual skeletons of every stage of a horse losing a webbed foot.  There is proof of a man very similar to apes and vice versa but almost only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades.

Genesis 2:7 KJV
[7] And Yahweh Elohim formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

But Genesis says it was in 7 days (I theorize that was primarily to express the importance of Yah's Moediim)...

Ecclesiastes 3:15 KJV
[15] That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and Yah requireth that which is past.

2 Peter 3:8 KJV
[8] But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day with Elohim as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

--

Man and his consciousness and/or purpose changed in the Bible in such a way that, chronologically speaking, is not far off from the theorized intelligence and/or ability inferred about the early skeletons and cranial structures of man utilized in evolutionary theory:

Genesis 3:7 KJV
[7] And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Genesis 9:2 KJV
[2] And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.

Genesis 11:7 KJV
[7] Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech

--

Evolution would also solve the age old argument that "it would be impossible to carry  two of every animal and seven of every clean animal on one ship (i.e. Noah's Ark):"

"Another factor which greatly reduces the space requirements is the fact that the tremendous variety in species we see today did not exist in the days of Noah. Only the parent “kinds” of these species were required to be on board in order to repopulate the earth.  For example, only two dogs were needed to give rise to all the dog species that exist today."

So, before you go slandering the "slandering idiots," consider:
Why do I think Evolution COULD be valid?

Three reasons:

1.  The Bible does not, to my knowledge, say that it's not
2.  The Creation declares a Creator and evolution would be pretty miraculous
3.  Free Will - without a logical explanation to appease the finite mind, you wouldn't have a choice but to choose to believe in a Creator.  One of the most important things about salvation is you have to WILLINGLY believe, WILLINGLY love and serve and follow.  You must WILLINGLY surrender.

Falling Forever

I remember when butterflies flied down
And made you a butterfly crown
And the butterflies took words away from me
Because it was perfect how it was
As long as you were there with me
Tender love
Falling...down...
And when we landed on our feet
The tender love grew more sweet
Darling
If all I ever had was you I'll get to keep more of me
Because you make me complete
Just to be

I remember when butterflies flied down
And made you a kingly crown
And you took words away from me
Because it was perfect how it was
As long as you were there with me
Tender love

Don't tell my eyes what my ears saw

Some people say I don't pray enough
But that's between me and mine
Some people say I made it up
But then I'd be just fine
Chasing shadows in circles leaves
The shadows chasing me
Sweet sanity times infinity
Would still leave me be
Define me

Do you know
Alone
You're worthless
(No you're not)
But you say I am
I won't do what you say I am
They don't know what they say I am
It's so easy to say I am
Just pray I am

I'm begging you to read this...

Dear Reader
I cannot express with words how much this message means to me.  This is me pouring my heart out and whether you agree or disagree, this is my plea - just read it.  And I pray that you may read this with a whole heart and an open mind that you might be abundantly blessed.

Psalm 119:136 KJV
[136] Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.

--

Acts 15:1 KJV
[1] And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

Proverbs 28:9 KJV
[9] He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

Hosea 4:6 KJV
[6] My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Proverbs 29:18 KJV
[18] Where there is no vision, the people perish: but
he that keepeth the law,
  happy is he.

--

I remember a dear friend talking about how Torah "changes one's life" and "makes one happier" because it was made "for our good" and "that it might be well with you."  I googled it and found lots and lots of Jewish traditions (Matthew 15:6 KJV ...Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

"What's in the Torah?" I searched and searched to no avail.

"Torah" means "law" and is often called "the law of Moses."  It is the first five books of the Bible:  Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.  It is also sometimes referred to as the "Levitical law" and [mistakenly] "the law of the Jews."  It is the law for Israel - Yah's people.  ("Yah" is the true name of "God" and can be found in Psalm 68:4 of any KJV Bible, though mistakenly with a "J," a letter that did not exist until approx 300-400 years ago).  Israel is not restricted to the people who crossed the Red Sea, it is available for anyone who chooses to follow Yah:

Romans 11:13,23 KJV
[13] For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: [23] And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for Yah is able to graff them in again.

There is no google search that can give you all of Torah lest you be reading Torah itself.   But a few things you can find:

1.  There are many elusive references to Yahshua ("Jesus"), such as Genesis 4:1 along with more strikingly obvious prophetical references such as:

Genesis 22:8 KJV
[8] And Abraham said, My son, Yah will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

John 1:2, 10 KJV
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Yah, and the Word was Yah.
[2] The same was in the beginning with Yah.
[10] And the Word was made flesh...
Genesis 1:3 Says
[3] And Yah said, Let there be light: and there was light.
John 8:12 KJV
[12] Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

2.  Sabbath - a day of rest and supplication (time spent) with Yah, a day to read his word and his TORAH (Acts 15:21)

Genesis 2:2-3 KJV
[2] And on the seventh day Yah ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. [3] And Yah blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which Yah created and made.

Exodus 20:8-10 KJV
[8] Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. [9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: [10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yahweh thy Elohim: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

Note that it is very specific about the SEVENTH day and that the seventh day week has continued uninterrupted SINCE Moses, meaning day 7 is and was still day 7...

Clean foods, forsaking idols, feast days, fleeing fornication, avoiding wrath, headcoverings, tzit tzit, loving your neighbor - it's all in there and more.

--

So many times I have people tell me, "what you say is true but you gave up bacon??"

And shrimp and crab and rabbit, I did.  And every Friday night and every Saturday and most jello and most marshmallows.  And I'd give anything else that my Elohim (My Lord, My Master, My Saviour, My King) should require.

Let me ask you this, have you ever been in love?  If your answer is yes, then you must understand
And if not, you should be.

1 John 4:19 KJV:
[19] We love him, because he first loved us.

--
The enemy has sought to keep these things hid ... Yahshua kept Torah, Yahshua taught Torah.  The Old Testament is all about Yahshua and Yahshua is all about the law.

1 John 2:6-7 KJV:
"He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.   "

Perhaps you are familiar with:

Matthew 22:37-40 KJV
"Yahshua said unto him, Thou shalt love Yahveh thy Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This is the first and great commandment. [39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [40] And this shall replace all of the law and the prophets On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

This wasn't a new thing...Yahshua was QUOTING TORAH:

Deuteronomy 6:5 KJV
[5] And thou shalt love Yahweh thy Elohim with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Leviticus 19:18 KJV
[18] Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am Yahveh.

--

Check yourself:

How many "Christians" do you know that believe as you do?  How common is your theology?
Yahshua said:
Matthew 7:14 KJV
[14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Have you ever been unpopular for your beliefs?
Yahshua also said:
Matthew 5:11 KJV
[11] Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you , and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Do you know what else Yahshua said?

John 7:19 KJV
[19] Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?

John 5:46-47 KJV
[46] For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
[47] But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

Luke 24:44 KJV
[44] And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Luke 16:31 KJV
[31] And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

--

Matthew 6:33 KJV
[33] But seek ye first the kingdom of Yah, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Jeremiah 29:13 KJV
[13] And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Try Psalm 119.

May Yah bless you and keep you!!

Nothing You

It's all a delusion
An illusion
Contructed straight from the ashes of the grave
An attraction
Tailored to reaction
You realize paper was all you ever saved

Corporate Dollars
Prostitute Daughters
Cell phone, tv, iPod, Siri
Super Bowl, Radio
Demon hero's halftime show
Sell your soul, they'll never know
It might just make you famous though

Eyes glued to the tube
Eating fake food
Screw the truth
Nothing new
Nothing true
Nothing you

It's a Heart Thing

If you have a righteous heart, You will desire what Yah desires.  Joel Osteen and other false "teachers" miserably fail to acknowledge this when they quote the famous:

"John 16:24 KJV
[24] Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full."

--

Psalm 51:10 KJV
[10] Create in me a clean heart, O Elohim; and renew a right spirit within me.

Ezekiel 36:26 KJV
[26] A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Ezekiel 11:19-20 KJV
[19] And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: [20] That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their Elohim.

Psalm 37:4 KJV
[4] Delight thyself also in Yah; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Matthew 6:33 KJV
[33] But seek ye first the kingdom of Elohim, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

I Walk The Line

I can't draw a straight line to save my life.  I can try and try and try and I might think I'm doing so good, and then I back away and realize it's all over the paper.  The only way I can draw a straight line is if I have a ruler, and then I have to stay as close and as firm to that ruler as I can.  And even then, the line might be a *little* shaky or odd in some places, but usually it looks something like this.

Turns out my life is the same way.

Matthew 4:4 KJV
[4] But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of Yahveh.

Don't Worry, Be Happy

Proverbs 29:18 KJV
[18] Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

There's this joke at work that I have to either be a crackhead or have some magic happy pills I'm holding out on because people can't be as crazy joyful and excitable, enthusiastic about life, as I am.

I tried to commit suicide a lot.  Something would always come up that wouldn't let me. I don't know if you know what it is like to be so consumed with gloom that you feel like death is your only option, but I do.  I have lived in darkness, walked in darkness, I once literally forgot how to smile.  I literally could not smile because it had been so long that my facial muscles forgot how.  I still have scars from all the times I cut myself just to feel.  I truly believed I was too far gone, nothing could ever make my life right, I was dealt a crappy hand and that was all there was to it.  The Bible says that blood is life.  But back then, I just wanted to pour it out.

Grace, tenderness, and mercy do exist.  And they are available to all.

Luke 5:36-39 KJV
[36] And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old. [37] And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. [38] But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. [39] No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.

2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
[17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

I don't need drugs or alcohol or fake love to be happy.  Those are all things that were put here by an enemy to distract us from Yah.  All we have to do is walk through the door.

John 10:9 KJV
[9] I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Bless Yah!

Revelation 4:11 KJV
[11] Thou art worthy, O Yahveh, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Psalm 16:8-9 KJV
[8] I have set Yahveh always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. [9] Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

Psalm 103:1-4 KJV
[1] Bless Yah, O my soul: and all that is within me, his holy name. [2] Bless Yah, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: [3] Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; [4] Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

Psalm 145:14-17 KJV
[14] Yah upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. [15] The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. [16] Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. [17] Yahveh is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

Isaiah 6:3 KJV
[3] And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, Yahweh of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

Judges 5:3 KJV
[3] Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto Yahveh ; I will sing praise to Yahweh Elohim of Israel.

1 Chronicles 29:13 KJV
[13] Now therefore, our Elohim, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

Psalm 9:2 KJV
[2] I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

Genesis 2:7 KJV
[7] And Yahweh Elohim formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Psalm 8:4 KJV
[4] What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Psalm 8:9 KJV
[9] O Yahveh our Elohim, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

Nothing can be given that could ever be enough, I cannot sing praises without the breath you give me to breathe.  I cannot love you without the soul you put inside of me.  And no words (even your written words, I'm sorry) could EVER bless you enough, praise you enough, give you glory enough for what you are and who you are and the amazing that you are.  I don't deserve you because every day I fall short with a short temper or a judgment by appearance or by jealousy or by wavering or by stubbornness or by not giving ALL of me ALL the time because I'm tired and flesh and human and weak...and I need need need you always as my strength and assurance and comfort and calm and yet every day you bless me - every day I wake up breathing and if I didn't Ecclesiastes says that that will be okay, too.  You give me loving people to love and your verses follow me, your strong tower and fiery pillar offering me comfort and protection everywhere I go.  You bless me with the most beautiful beauty of your beautiful creation and give me wonderful things and experiences completely insignificant to anything in comparison to the universe.  I am insignificant to anything in comparison to the universe, your universe that you created and hold in place and could speak out of existence as easily as you spoke it in.  And I am a highly imperfect speck within.  But somehow you still see me as worth it. <3

Power of The Veil

I remember the first time I stumbled into a Shabbat service and all of the women had headcoverings...and I thought maybe they were Amish?  I learned more and more and grew more and more and learned that no, they definitely weren't Amish but for whatever the reason, they covered their head... So I turned to the word...

--

Numbers 5:18 KJV
[18] And the priest shall set the woman before Yahveh, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse...

1 Corinthians 11:3,5-6,13 KJV
[3] But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

[5] But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
[6] For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

[13] Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

--

If a woman was thought to have committed adultery, the priest would "uncover her head."

A woman's husband is her head and the head of her husband is Christ...but praying or prophesying with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head...

Oh my goodness I mulled that over so many times.  It was enough to make me at least cover during worship services because I was definitely at least praying...and then I started to cover when I would read scripture...and then on New Moons...and sometimes I would be brought to a spiritual discussion and literally be like ... "hold on!!" so I could go grab a headcovering before I continued the discussion.

After a while, I started to recognize some silliness in that.  And I started to feel almost...dirty...when I didn't cover.  After all my hair is my glory, that I should proudly share that before all eyes before Yah, whose glory cannot be matched?  It was a weird personal battle that I couldn't quite pin but the emotions for conviction were there.  So I started covering.  For a week or two.  And then I wouldn't.  For a week or two.  I got a lot of weird looks (still do) and off-the-wall comments like, "Got any hair under that hat?" Or "Bad hair day everyday, huh?"  I would feel awkward and quit covering for a time and then feel guilty and go at it again.  But then I realized something; I don't serve man.  I serve Yah.  I serve the Yah that is so powerful and so magnificent and so amazing and wonderful that he SPOKE me into existence and politely convicted me through His word and my heart to cover my head.  That in comparison to a few people wondering if I'm Amish?  I'll take it.

And it never ceases to amaze me how the "power of the veil" (I actually vary from bandannas to hats to scarves to titchels depending on where I'm going, what I'm doing, what I'm wearing, what's the cleanest, and/or how I feel that day). Only my husband, my mother, and my Yah see my head uncovered and still very rarely.  There's substance to it...a cover of protection, sort of like a step further than tzit tzit.  My husband is my cover, but at work I'm venturing through the world alone (with Yah), and my hat is a reminder that my husband and my Yah cover me.  Before I covered my head, I liked to hide my face with hair, but now I realize my true insecurity lies with my head, how having it covered makes me feel safer under Yah's will.  It's my respect to the order of things and my place in that order.  And it is amazing how much more power a woman has when she surrenders her will (all of it) to her husband and her King.  And my headcovering is a sign of that surrender, my white flag.

Anything I am, anything I ever will be; anything I've ever been thought to accomplish or anything I am thought to have potential to become; anything good I have ever done or anything I have ever done that is worth remembering - it all comes from one far greater than you or I or anyone.  It comes from Yah.  It is with Yah that I walk and it is in His presence by His request in His will that I cover.

Sisters, I pray that you may find the same peace.  In Yahshua's beautiful, loving, redeeming name I pray, HalaluYah!
